The EDU OFFSHORE WIND 2023 was a great success!
The EDU OFFSHORE WIND 2023 Career Exhibition was a great success!
Over 5,000 students visited the Amber Expo hall in Gdansk, Poland between 14-15 March 2023 to learn more about career opportunities and green energy initiatives in the offshore wind sector.
The event was a great opportunity for students to plan out their future careers in this rapidly growing field, as well as meet with local and international businesses.
Seatech Engineering was present at the stand (A66) where our youngest staff Karolina Bierkowska, Jakub Okonski and Daniel Mikula gave all the necessary information about our company. We wore excited to be part of this event and we hope to be back next year!
Until then, be sure to keep up with the latest developments in offshore wind energy. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this exciting industry. Thank you for joining us at EDU OFFSHORE WIND 2023!
- What are the benefits of offshore wind energy?
Offshore wind energy is a renewable, unlimited and non-polluting source of electricity that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change. Offshore wind farms have several advantages over land-based wind farms, such as:
- Higher and more consistent wind speeds offshore, which means more energy can be generated.
- Less visual and acoustic impact on the environment and people, as offshore wind turbines are located far away from the shore.
- More potential for large-scale projects with higher installed capacity, as offshore wind farms are not limited by land availability or physical obstacles.
